For startups & small businesses

AWS for startups and small businesses

Everything AWS at the early stage, from one certified team: architecture done right from day one, a bill that stays under control, funded work where AWS allows it, and help with the AWS credit programs you can qualify for.

What's included

The AWS team you don't have to hire yet

Architecture from day one

Accounts, networking, CI/CD and infrastructure as code set up to best practices and sized for a small team, without overbuilding.

Cost control early

The Averium platform, budgets and anomaly alerts from the first month, so credits last longer and the first full bill holds no surprises.

AWS credit programs

Help finding the credit programs you qualify for, strong applications, and introductions to accelerator and investor partners whose programs include AWS credits.

Funded projects

Proofs of concept and migrations from other clouds or hosting submitted for AWS funding, with part of our fee recovered from the savings the work produces.

DevOps & support on demand

Certified engineers for pipelines, releases, incidents and questions, a few hours a month or more as you grow.

Security & compliance basics

A security baseline from the start, and SOC 2 or PCI DSS readiness when your first enterprise customers start asking.

Funding

Credits, funding and savings

Early-stage budgets are tight. These are the levers we use to lower the cost of AWS and of our own work.

AWS programs

  • AWS Activate

AWS credits for eligible early-stage startups. AWS decides eligibility and amounts; we help you choose the right route and prepare the application.

  • AWS PoC funding

Funding to prove a new workload on AWS, requested through a Partner.

  • Migration Acceleration Program (MAP)

Credits and funding for moving to AWS from another cloud or a hosting provider.

Averium

Where the work lowers your AWS bill, part of Averium's fee is recovered from those savings instead of being invoiced upfront. The split is fixed in the statement of work before anything starts.

Only an AWS Partner can request AWS funding. We prepare and submit the application; AWS makes the final award. How AWS funding works

FAQ

Common questions

Can you help us get AWS credits?+

AWS decides who receives credits. We help you find the programs you qualify for and prepare the application, and where it fits we introduce you to accelerator and investor partners whose portfolio programs include AWS Activate credits. AWS lists Portfolio-tier credits of up to $100,000.

Is this only for venture-backed startups?+

No. The same help is available to small businesses and bootstrapped teams. Credit programs have their own eligibility rules, but architecture, cost control, funding for new workloads and support don't depend on how you're funded.

We're not on AWS yet. Where do we start?+

With an intro call. If you're moving from another cloud or a hosting provider, the move may qualify for AWS migration funding; if you're starting fresh, we set up the foundation and the cost controls before your first workload goes live.

We're running on credits. Why care about cost now?+

Because credits expire and the habits stay. Budgets, alerts and right-sized infrastructure from the start make credits last longer and keep the first paid bill predictable.
