You save first. We bill a share of it.
No upfront fee. No credit card. No platform subscription. Averium earns a success fee on the savings we actually deliver — the incentive is simple: the more we save you, the better we both do.
A percentage of delivered savings — nothing else
- The fee applies only to savings we've actually delivered — opportunities you haven't captured never count.
- Your existing commitments (savings you already had) are always free — we never charge for work we didn't do.
- Your rate is agreed per account and shown on every invoice.
- Every figure is reproducible in your own AWS Cost Explorer.

Invoiced directly — bank transfer preferred
Averium bills you directly for your AWS usage plus the success fee. Bank transfer is our preferred method — and earns a discount. Card and other options are available.
Bank transfer
Our preferred method. Pay by bank transfer and take a 3% discount on the AWS-usage portion of your bill. (Third-party Marketplace charges and tax aren't discounted.)
Card
Prefer to pay by card? It's a supported option — handled securely by our payment processor. (The 3% bank-transfer discount doesn't apply to card.)
Other options
Need a different method? Additional payment options are available on request — the details for your chosen method show up on your invoice.
How it works: you pay Averium the amount you'd owe AWS plus the agreed success fee. We settle the underlying AWS bill on your behalf — one invoice, one payment, itemized to the cent with per-account lines for AWS Organizations. Full terms are in our billing terms.
Common questions
Is there really no upfront cost?+
Correct. Connecting and getting your savings estimate is free. You only pay a success fee once we've delivered savings.
What exactly is the fee charged on?+
Delivered savings only — the difference between what you'd pay on-demand and what you actually pay after our optimizations. It's fully reproducible in your Cost Explorer.
How do I pay?+
On our managed models, Averium invoices you directly and mirrors your AWS bill: in the new month for the previous month, with our discount already applied. Bank transfer is our preferred method and earns a discount; card payments are also supported, and other options are available on request — you don't need a card on file to start. On the Self-serve model you subscribe through AWS Marketplace, so AWS charges you directly.
Can I cancel?+
Any time — there's no lock-in period. Billing follows the AWS monthly cycle, so a disconnect takes effect on the 1st of the next billing cycle: if you ask to leave mid-month (say the 10th), you come off Averium on the 1st and AWS bills you directly from then on. Removing access is just deleting the CloudFormation stacks from your account.
Do you need write access?+
Not to start. Analysis is fully read-only. You only grant optimization access if and when you activate autopilot.
