AWS DevOps services that also watch the bill
Certified AWS DevOps engineers for pipelines, containers, infrastructure as code and day-to-day operations, as a project or as an ongoing team. Every change is checked against what it costs to run.
The work that keeps releases moving
CI/CD pipelines
GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or AWS CodePipeline, with blue/green or canary releases and rollbacks that work.
Kubernetes on EKS
Cluster design, Karpenter autoscaling, upgrades and version planning, before extended-support pricing multiplies the control-plane bill.
ECS, Fargate & serverless
Container and Lambda architectures for teams that don't need to run Kubernetes.
Observability
CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry, with alerts tied to service health rather than noise.
Graviton & modernization
Moving workloads to Arm-based Graviton instances and managed services where the price-performance gain is real.
Ongoing operations
Retained DevOps capacity for upgrades, patching and incidents, on a schedule that fits your team.
How DevOps work gets funded
AWS has no standalone program for day-to-day DevOps work, and we won't pretend otherwise. Here is what can apply.
AWS programs
Migration & modernization (MAP)
DevOps work done as part of a migration or modernization, such as pipelines and container platforms for the migrated workloads, falls under that project's funding.
Averium
Work that cuts your AWS bill, such as Graviton moves, Kubernetes rightsizing or off-hours scheduling, can be paid in part from the savings it delivers instead of upfront. The split is fixed in the statement of work.
Only an AWS Partner can request AWS funding. We prepare and submit the application; AWS makes the final award. How AWS funding works
From first call to done
- 1
Audit
Pipelines, clusters and alerting reviewed; bottlenecks and costs listed.
- 2
Plan
Fixed-scope project or a retained team, agreed up front.
- 3
Deliver
Changes shipped as code, through your review process.
- 4
Run or hand over
We keep operating it, or train your team to.
AWS Partner. Certified engineers. Paid from results.
The team that builds it also runs the FinOps platform that keeps it cost-efficient afterwards.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional and SysOps Administrator engineers
- Cost is part of every design review, backed by the Averium FinOps platform
- Kubernetes rightsizing and cluster findings come from the same platform we use for clients
- No lock-in: your repos, your accounts, your runbooks
Common questions
Do you work on projects or as an ongoing team?+
Both. A fixed-scope project suits a pipeline rebuild or an EKS migration; a retained team suits upgrades, ongoing changes and incident support.
Which tools do you use?+
We work with what you have: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, Terraform, AWS CDK, Helm, Argo CD, Prometheus and Grafana, among others. We'll only suggest a change of tooling if it pays for itself.
Our EKS clusters are on an old Kubernetes version. Is that a problem?+
Usually yes. Once a version leaves standard support, EKS bills extended support at several times the normal control-plane price. We plan and run the upgrades so you don't pay that.
Can AWS fund DevOps work?+
Only when it is part of a migration or modernization project. Outside that, work that lowers your bill can be partly paid from the savings it produces.
