AWS private pricing, EDP and volume discounts
Public AWS prices are the starting point, not the floor. At enough spend, AWS offers private pricing: an Enterprise Discount Program (now called a Private Pricing Agreement), service-specific rates and volume terms. We model the commitment, prepare the case and negotiate alongside you.
Every pricing lever, sized together
EDP / Private Pricing Agreement
A multi-year spend commitment in exchange for a discount across most services, modeled on a conservative forecast so you don't overcommit.
Service private pricing
Committed-volume rates for services such as CloudFront and data transfer, which often matter more than a blanket discount.
Commitments modeled together
Savings Plans, existing Reserved Instances and private pricing sized as one plan, so each commitment covers only what the others leave.
Marketplace private offers
Negotiated prices for third-party software bought through AWS Marketplace, which can count toward a private pricing commitment.
Billing through Averium
As an AWS Authorized Commercial Reseller we can bill your AWS usage directly, with invoicing by bank transfer.
Burn-down & renewal
Spend tracked against the commitment every month, and the renewal prepared well before the term ends.

Common questions
How much do we need to spend for an EDP?+
AWS doesn't publish a threshold. Private Pricing Agreements are aimed at organizations with significant, predictable annual spend. Below that level, Savings Plans and service-level private pricing usually deliver more, and we'll tell you so.
Does an EDP replace Savings Plans?+
No. The two work together: Savings Plans lower the rate on steady compute, and a private pricing discount applies across most services. Sizing them together is most of the work.
What if we spend less than we committed?+
Under a private pricing agreement you pay the shortfall. That's why we size commitments to a conservative forecast and track burn-down monthly.
Can we get CloudFront or data transfer discounts without an EDP?+
Often, yes. Service-level private pricing for committed traffic is available on its own, as is the CloudFront security savings bundle.
